EnVie Fitness is a My Zone studio. The use of the My Zone program and heart rate monitor allows us to customize workouts for our members that follow specific heart rate zones and an effective workout experience that is based on age and individual fitness level . We also offer the best of your favorite classes, but in a safe, comfortable and fun environment. Choose from HIIT, Spin, Boot Camp, Boxing, TRX, Yoga, Pilates, Zumba, Barre, Pole Conditioning and much more!

Maxine Stires
OWNER
Maxine has been in the fitness industry for over 15 years and has owned several fitness centers dedicated to serving women in the El Paso area. Maxine has a Masters in Education, is certified in wellness and nutrition and has served as a consultant and educator for over 20 years. She is passionate about helping the women and families in her community get healthier, stronger and to empower them to gain back their self confidence. She strives to build a fitness community where members can not only be challenged to be a better version of themselves, but to also educate them so that they can make better health and nutritional decisions. At EnVie, we work hard to ensure that our members meet their goals.
Susana Fong
CO-OWNER
Susana has worked in digital marketing for over 16 years and became co-owner of EnVie Fitness in 2023. She initially joined EnVie as a member at the beginning of 2022. Walking in that day to EnVie, changed her life completely. In the first year she lost 40+ lbs and credits her success to the amazing instructors, members and staff. She is so passionate about helping others, she has made fitness one of her priorities. All of our members and staff, make EnVie a place where women can not only achieve their goals but have the amazing support needed to do so.
Ana Avalos
ZUMBA INSTRUCTOR
Ana has over ten years of experience as a Zumba Fitness Instructor and is certified in Zumba Sentao, Zumba toning and Zumba Strong. Ten years ago, Ana found herself weighing 200 lbs and she wasn’t able to even go up her home’s staircase-she ran short of breath! She tried all sorts of ways to lose the weight, but nothing helped. It wasn’t until she walked into a rec center one day and attended a Zumba class. It was a party with music of all genres, dancing and just pure FUN! It was a workout in disguise! A year later, she became a fitness instructor and shed all the lbs off.
Cindy Cruz
ZUMBA INSTRUCTOR
Cindy’s journey started back in 2011 when she took her first Zumba class. She instantly fell in love with it. For over a course of 2 years Cindy took as many Zumba classes as she could and finally met her fitness goals. She felt healthier and happier than she had felt before. In 2013 she decided to become a Zumba instructor. Her desire was to spread the love and to help others achieve their fitness goals. Cindy has been teaching for 5 years now and recently got certified in Strong by Zumba. This class is a Hiit class that will make you work harder, stronger and will push you to your limits.
Edmundo Tecson
ZUMBA INSTRUCTOR
Edmundo has over 20 years of experience as a professional dancer in the Philippines and has brought his dance talents to the US. He shares his talents and his passion with us through his Zumba instruction. He specializes in Hip Hop Zumba and one thing for sure, he can definitely get the party going! His passion is to fire up and motivate all of his students so that they lead healthier lives. It’s always a party in Edmundo’s classes! Edmundo is also certified to teach Zumba Toning and Pound.
Clarissa Ryan
ZUMBA INSTRUCTOR
Clarissa has been a member of Envie for six years and an instructor for almost 2 years. She has a Masters in special education and is certified in Barre. Fitness became a top priority in her life when she was pregnant. She continued to work out less than a week before going into labor for both pregnancies. Clarissa believes it is vital for women to take care of their bodies through every season of their life, especially pregnancy. She loves being part of the Envie culture, which promotes unity, encouragement, and healthy lifestyle choices. She lives motivating women to strive to be a better version of themselves.
Jasmin Barron
INSTRUCTOR
Jasmin has over 5 years of experience as a group and pole fitness instructor. She teaches a variety of classes from HIIT, body sculpting, circuit, abs/buns of steel to pole strength and flexibility. She graduated from The University of Texas at El Paso with a degree in Kinesiology-concentration in exercise science and a minor in psychology.
Melissa Hernandez
INSTRUCTOR
Melissa’s goal in life is to have the most positive impact in the lives of the women she works with at EnVie. She is passionate about helping people form the right balance in their lives-both mentally and physically. Melissa holds certifications in Zumba, Strong Nation, Group Fitness, Personal Training, Boxing/Kickboxing, HIIT Training, Spinning, TRX and Sports Nutrition.
Nancy Primero
INSTRUCTOR
Nancy Primero has been a Zumba Instructor for over 13 years. She first started Zumba as a student and soon realized that dancing was her passion. She got Zumba certified and hasn’t stopped dancing since! Nancy loves to work with women and finds great pleasure in motivating them and building their self confidence. Her passion is to help women become the strongest and healthiest that they can be. Her classes are so much fun-just like a party! Come try one out-you will not regret it!
Rick Huante
INSTRUCTOR
Rick, aka “Ironman”, specializes in a variety of different
training styles-from heavy power lifting, to cardio kickboxing, cardio step
aerobics and self defense. He first started his journey into physical fitness
when he was just a teen. He trained with weights and tried a variety of martial
arts classes. He eventually became an MMA fighter and also worked for the El
Paso Police department and Federal Protective services. Rick fell in love with
the experience of helping people stay fit and learning how to defend
themselves.
He brings a lot of knowledge
to his classes and is always eager to help you get stronger.
