We offer a variety of female-focused workouts that encompass the entire body, for a complete workout-Cardio, Strength, and Flexibility.  EnVie Fitness is a My Zone studio which allows us to customize workouts that follow specific heart rate zones-specializing in HIIT workouts. This allows for a fully customizable experience for each member based on her age, fitness level and goals.  EnVie Fitness also offers the best of your favorite classes, but in a safe, comfortable and fun environment. Choose from Spin, Boot Camps, Boxing, TRX, Yoga, Pilates, Zumba, Barre, Pole Conditioning and much more! Now, also offering customized meal planning and weight loss challenges!

EnVie Fitness is a Myzone Studio-Through the use of a Myzone wearable heart rate monitor  (equiv. to an EKG at 99.4%), during exercise, our members are able to stay fully connected to their workouts in and out of the studio.

Maxine Stires
Maxine StiresOwner
Maxine has been in the fitness industry for over 15 years and has owned several fitness centers dedicated to serving women in the El Paso area. Maxine has a Masters in Education, is certified in wellness and nutrition and has served as a consultant and educator for over 20 years. She is passionate about helping the women and families in her community get healthier, stronger and to empower them to gain back their self confidence. She strives to build a fitness community where members can not only be challenged to be a better version of themselves, but to also educate them so that they can make better health and nutritional decisions. At EnVie, we work hard to ensure that our members meet their goals.

Maxine’s Message to you: “It doesn’t matter your age, size or your level of fitness-just know that all of us at EnVie fitness are here to help you reach your health and fitness goals! We work hard to make sure that the classes we offer are fun, safe and rigorousness enough for every fitness level. We provide a caring and warm community so that all feel comfortable and welcomed. Jennifer Armendariz

Jennifer is an oncology nurse practitioner and co-owner of Envie Fitness. She has been in the medical field for the last 15 years.She has a huge passion for helping others stay healthy. She encourages people to be proactive with their health and wellness. Jennifer is a certified metabolic health coach and is one of the founding coaches of GetFit21, a 21 day health challenge where she teaches people how to implement healthy lifestyle changes for life. In fact, she has coached over 500 people! Jennifer loves to see women come together and support each other, it is so empowering! You will find that at Envie, that is what we are all about.. women motivating other women!
Shay Gann
Shay GannLead Instructor
With over 10 years of experience in the fitness industry, Shay is the lead instructor here at Envie Fitness. Shay is a certified Personal Trainer, Sports Nutrition Specialist, Group Fitness Instructor and Indoor Cycling Instructor with additional certifications in HIIT training and Kettlebell Training. As a mom of 5 and a grandma of 2, Shay understands the demands placed on women every day. Her passion is helping to empower other women by teaching them how to take care of themselves. She stresses that through exercise and proper nutrition one may achieve a healthier and stronger lifestyle.
Cindy Cruz

Cindy’s journey started back in 2011 when she took her first Zumba class. She instantly fell in love with it. For over a course of 2 years Cindy took as many Zumba classes as she could and finally met her fitness goals. She felt healthier and happier than she had felt before. In 2013 she decided to become a Zumba instructor. Her desire was to spread the love and to help others achieve their fitness goals. Cindy has been teaching for 5 years now and recently got certified in Strong by Zumba. This class is a Hiit class that will make you work harder, stronger and will push you to your limits.

Cindy’s message to you: “ What I Enjoy about teaching is to see my students having fun and enjoying every minute of the class. I like to tell my students to give themselves that one hour where they become dancing goddesses and to just forget about work, laundry, and chores . Let zumba be your stress reliever and why not dance calories away while having fun.”

Ali Durham

Ali is a mom of 4 and loves outdoor activity. Ali has been a fitness instructor for over 6 years and is certified in Group X Person Training, RIPPED, Turbokick, Insanity and TRX. Her favorite classes to teach are Pum and strength based classes. She is currently working o her Sports Medicine and Physical Therapy degree.
Ali’s goal is to make women feel strong, empowered and beautiful no matter your age, size or fitness level.

Edmundo Tecson

Edmundo has over 20 years of experience as a professional dancer in the Philippines and has brought his dance talents to the US. He shares his talents and his passion with us through his Zumba instruction. He specializes in Hip Hop Zumba and one thing for sure, he can definitely get the party going! His passion is to fire up and motivate all of his students so that they lead healthier lives. It’s always a party in Edmundo’s classes! Edmundo is also certified to teach Zumba Toning and Pound.
Ana Avalos

Ana has over ten years of experience as a Zumba Fitness Instructor and is certified in Zumba Sentao, Zumba toning and Zumba Strong. Ten years ago, Ana found herself weighing 200 lbs and she wasn’t able to even go up her home’s staircase-she ran short of breath! She tried all sorts of ways to lose the weight, but nothing helped. It wasn’t until she walked into a rec center one day and attended a Zumba class. It was a party with music of all genres, dancing and just pure FUN! It was a workout in disguise! A year later, she became a fitness instructor and shed all the lbs off.

Ana’s message to you: “ I love every part of the Zumba Fitness Program- being that not only did it help me lose weight, but it helped me de-stress from the day’s work. I’ve met lots of new and AMAZING people with similar health goals, and I have gained self-confidence. I love what I do and I really enjoy when I see our members having fun and getting fit at the same time! I invite anyone who loves to dance to come try Zumba-it really is a party in disguise!”

Lizeth is a certified Group instructor and Personal trainer. She also holds certifications in Yoga, Pilates, and in Spin. With over 4 years of experience in the fitness industry, Lizeth finds her passion in helping others achieve their desired fitness and health goals. She loves teaching Boot camp, Body Sculpt, Pilates, Cycling, Yoga and HIIT classes.

Lizeth’s message to you- “I am passionate about exercising and taking care of my body and mind. I like helping people to become healthier and I take great satisfaction from having a positive impact on people’s lives. I come from an athletic background (track and field runner). I love competing in triathlons and all types of marathons and I know that I can help you reach your goals. It will hurt, it will take time. It will require dedication and it will require willpower! You will need to make healthy decisions along with some sacrifices. You will have to push your body to its max. There will be temptation, but I will help you succeed. I promise, when you reach your goal it will be WORTH IT!!”

Jasmin Barron

Jasmin has over 5 years of experience as a group and pole fitness instructor. She teaches a variety of classes from HIIT, body sculpting, circuit, abs/buns of steel to pole strength and flexibility. She graduated from The University of Texas at El Paso with a degree in Kinesiology-concentration in exercise science and a minor in psychology.

Suzette Avalos

Suzette found Yoga when she first ended a long term relationship. Yoga helped her prepare both mentally and emotionally for the challenges that followed. Yoga allowed her to navigate through the chaotic time and to help her gain a new perspective in life and chart a new course. Suzette is certified in Yoga-Gentle Flow and Restorative and Aqua Kriya Yoga.

Colbert Lozoya
Colbert LozoyaCoach
Colbert is our boxing/kickboxing instructor and has over 16 years of training experience. Colbert started boxing at 9 years old and since then has had over 60 amateur and 24 professional boxing matches. Colbert is known as “Pit Bull Lozoya” in the boxing world and at EnVie. At age 25, Colbert began personal training and is dedicated and passionate about teaching our members proper boxing technique, and he also works hard to help his students become stronger and better cardio conditioned.
Nerissa Gutierrez

Nerissa has over 8 years of instructing and is certified in group fitness and barre and indoor cycling. Nerissa is also a Red Belt in Taekwondo, and a Master pole instructor. Nerissa’s passion is fitness and loves motivating women to build their self confidence and to be the strongest and healthiest that they can be.

Mariana enjoys hiking, reading, yoga and outdoor activities and most of all, spending time with her family. She has over 20 years of business experience and has joined the Envie team because she loves working with women of all ages and walks of life. She finds joy and satisfaction knowing that she is able to affect people’s lives in a positive and caring way.

KID’S CORNER

  • Kid’s Corner Rules:

    We love kids and the safety of your children is our highest priority.  We ask that you please adhere to our rules so that we can ensure that you and your children are being served well.

  • Kid’s Corner Availability (childminding times):

    • Monday thru Friday during the 8:30am  and 9:30 am classes.
    • Monday thru Thursday during the 5:00 pm and 6:00 pm class time
    • NO Child Minding during the 7:00 pm class time nor on Saturdays.
  • Kids’s Corner Policies:

    • Childminding is available for only 1 hour per day. An additional hour per day will incur a charge of $5.00 child. Fee must be paid at the time of service.
    • Reservation for child care is required for children under the age of 3. Please provide us with a notice within 24 hr. via text, email or phone call.
    • No glass containers allowed. Liquids must be in a spill proof container.
    • Please do not bring your child of he or she is suffering from a cold or has a fever.
    • EnVie staff will not change diapers or take your children to the restroom. We will call you out of class for this.
    • We will not discipline your children. If discipline is required, we will call you out of class.
    • Please stay with your child until class starts and then get your child as soon as class ends.
